There's this other thread there suggest a bug where your name could be the fault.

If that's the case you might have to wait for a patch.

When you hit Enter to type something, have you tried hitting Tab to switch through the different channels?
I would also recommend repairing the game files in Origin.

yeah I switched through all TAB and tried to type in....I still dont see what I typed.
Very Strange problem...
I already tried repairing the files... I even reinstallled the game twice.. ☹️
