COMBINED ARMS (1-4 players) squad player gets kicked out when game starts.

I have no issues joining a Multiplayer game with my friends.  However, when I create a COMBINED ARMS (1-4 players), the squad leader gets into the game level, but the other squad member gets kicked out. In addition, we no longer have the ability to talk to each other. This definitely seem like a bug to me.  PS5. Please help!.  TIA.
