This is so annoying! Fortunately, from what i can tell, your stats are not thrown out because all progression (weapon, rank, assignments) is kept.
BattleTracker reports however, don't always make it. Seems hit or miss with those.
Been an issue forever!
Happened on BF1 too, partly why I think there are no stats in Battlefront 2.
