Really strange it's doing that for you 99% of the time. Have you tried repairing the game by right-clicking on it in Origin or reinstalled the game to see if that would fix this?
Mine have done that too the few times i have tried starting CA after playing multiplayer.
I have to end task in task manager to close the game because it just freeze when trying to load CA.
If i start up the game and go to CA there are no problems.
Same problem for me. Every day when i change to CO the game freeze have to start over the game every day and time i want to change it..Annoying as hell!

Would you mind adding your DxDiag reports to this post so we can take a look at your system specs?
- What type of router do you have?
- Do you play from a home, school, or business network?
- Which game mode in Multiplayer are you playing before you go to Combined Arms?
- Does this happen when you use the server browser and quick match tiles when queuing for Multiplayer games?
- How long do you let it hang for before restarting the game?
