For BFV, I don't see it happening. I did suggest this to DICE over a year ago as it's the next progression I saw coming (link below).
Maybe with MW going that route, maybe the next BF title (BC3?) will follow suit.

It’s more specific on squad conquest for example. Ofc I can filter but if I prefer something and enter empty servers it start to get annoying 🙂
