Current thoughts on BFV?

Battlefield had a rocky start to say the least, with its announcement trailer a lot of people didn't understand (I personally enjoyed it and loved it more after that JackFrags video), a myriad of different bugs, and visibility issues among others, but I'm curious of how people perceive the game now?

Multiple weapons have been added, they have started to find tune the weekly nodes, visibility has greatly improved, and everybody seems to be excited for most of, if not all, the upcoming maps - It seems to me the general public is finally started to warm up to the game and this dark cloud that's been hovering over our heads since the beginning is finally starting to disipate.

I really liked the game from the beginning (at least after I upgraded from my i5 2500K as I realised it just wouldn´t run the game 😕 ). Yes it had many bugs, but this has been with many BF titles before, just remember the start of BF4 and it still is a great game tot this day.

From dayx one of BFV i really liked the gunplay and some of the changes they made, like removing 3D spotting for the most part and removing team switching. I can´t wait for the new content coming in the next month. Seeing what they are bringing to the game is awesome, but all of this coming so late just shows how much the game was rushed in the first place. I still wish they would just delay a game for like half a year, but i guess EA will never have that happen.

I thought I wasn't going to enjoy the removal of 3D spotting but it didn't take long for me to see the benefit in doing so - I've periodically gone back to BF1 for events and stuff and don't think I've used the feature once.

I was in a very small group of people who didn't experience too many bugs with BF4's launch. I had rubberbanding issues, yes, but I know other people had it worse so I'm glad the game was able to get to where it is even today.

It would be nice to have everything at launch but I agree an extension to development is the most important part; I hope things like a later RSP and level cap don't turn too many people off

I have hope for the game. After all they have shown, what they will bring to the game, it looks to be an amazing package. And you can get or for 30 bucks right now.
