did the mg42's recoil get worse while prone and bipoded? why isn't it stable?

@qpwoeiruty69 Depends on when you last played the game. Most weapons have been changed a lot over the last year, but not with the last patch.
I do have all the MMGs in gold and I have to say, they are really powerfull. You can easily kill multi enemies in seconds and with their high rate of fire, the damage is balanced quiet well. However, you have to adapt to them quiet a bit after using other weapons. The recoil for MMGs with huge beltfed magazines is rough for the first couple bullets, but it stabilizes the longer you spray.
