It's not just you man, I have 3 R9 390's in crossfire, they all work fine in BF4/BF1, yet only single GPU works in BFV. I have tried the BF1 profile, and it doesn't do anything. I have also tried different drivers as well.

I'm curious. How did you get crossfire working in bf1?

Crossfire BF1 worked for me without any special modifications, but I picked up the game a couple months after its initial release so they may have added crossfire support just before I bought it.
I'm also using a Radeon R9 295x2 so my crossfire cards are the exact same GPU types (290x's). Are you trying to use different GPU architectures (e.g. 380+480)?
I am running 3 cards r9 290X and only one card is being used with the latest everything updated. Drivers, windows 10, and game. Sad I have a water cooled system everything over clocked and I can't run BF5. I guess I might just put BF5 back in the box and stick with software I can get the most out of my computer with. Why drive a sports car 10 miles per hour.
