"Failed to connect to EA online" Battlefield V

I bought this game a couple months ago and just installed it about a week ago. I opened it up and the first thing I saw was "Failed to connect the EA online" so I pressed "Go Online" and the same message showed up. I'm pretty sure that my EA account is connected to my Xbox 1S and I have a good internet connection. I hope someone can help me solve this issue.

    Hey @ZeeDestroyer315,

    I have split off your post from the thread where this got posted in, as that thread was mainly "unable to launch" and Windows/Origin related, not Xbox.

    Regarding the issue that you're experiencing; do you know/have you checked if your Xbox Live Gold is still active? As this is needed to go online in BFV on the Xbox.
