Was in a squad of 3 people yesterday and we were trying to auto-fill the last slot. The timer counted to over 3 minutes multiple times without filling the slot. Are you telling me that there was not a SINGLE person looking to join a squad for over 8 minutes during prime gaming time?
Same here, playing on PS4, Europe (West).
Experiencing the same bug concerning squad not being filled up during matchmaking. But only sporadically. When starting the matchmaking with a 2-player squad it doesnt fill up within the 3-min timer most of the time. The Team gets filled up once, but had to play the following 4-8 games without additional squadmembers.
Some hours later or after few matches we could play several games with a filled up squad. Cant explain it.
Duos mode would be great to avoid some of that trouble.
My Squadmembers told me about an issue that prevented them from opening the 'social' window when pressing R2 in main menu after returning from a firestorm match. Me as squadleader, technically most of the time, didnt had that issue at all. Dont know if it refers to the matchmaking issue, couldnt prove any correlations.
When switching to another squadleader to let him search for a game, we suddenly get 1-2 other players in our squad but the matchmaking fails immediatedly with 'error occured' onscreen message. The added squadmembers remain in the team. But starting a new matchmaking always fails until we create a new squad.
Its a very weird experience, hope this gets noticed.
Experienced this multiple times over the weekend. No point in playing the round when you get into a 2 or 3 person squad as you're at an immediate disadvantage.
I cannot progress through the TOW assignments, because of this Error (The first assignment for the Fire Axe reward). I could not enter a match a single time today. I waited for an hour to try again, but it does not matter what type of Firestorm mode you select or how much time you wait to try again. It happened to me ever since they added Duos. I also waited around 8 min and people just kept leaving, probably due to the same error.
It baffles me how long it takes to matchmake in Firestorm. When it's not completely unplayable like you say @salomaogh - it is boring as hell waiting for ages for squad and games to match make.

I actually managed to end second being alone in my squad from the beginning - I continued to sneek my way in the circles and since I had to get on the phone I hid between some rocks ... when I came back the round had ended with me being on second place - I guess it took them some good time to find me. 😇
