Experienced this multiple times over the weekend. No point in playing the round when you get into a 2 or 3 person squad as you're at an immediate disadvantage.
I cannot progress through the TOW assignments, because of this Error (The first assignment for the Fire Axe reward). I could not enter a match a single time today. I waited for an hour to try again, but it does not matter what type of Firestorm mode you select or how much time you wait to try again. It happened to me ever since they added Duos. I also waited around 8 min and people just kept leaving, probably due to the same error.
It baffles me how long it takes to matchmake in Firestorm. When it's not completely unplayable like you say @salomaogh - it is boring as hell waiting for ages for squad and games to match make.
- Yes, errors joining a match with friends has been happening since the launch on PS4 EU. Happens in duo and also in squad mode. The other player gets an error when the loading starts and the other player from the squad loads into the lobby. The lobby is usually half full so I assume a lot of people experience this.
Also when we play squad mode, we ( 2-3 friends already in a squad) always need to create a new squad after finishing a match. The squad just doesn't fill up with random(s). After creating a new squad random(s) join the squad in seconds and the match begins to load.@Richard_P_Vernon @salomaogh @SHiFTY59_g9ltrl
I've been watching some Firestorm streams online and people are suggesting to wait about 30 seconds in the squad menu before searching for a new match. The matchmaking failed error doesn't seem to come up as often (or at all) if you wait longer between matches apparently.
