I can fly with planes but i'm infantry player and be killed by bomber campers all the time is not a fun thing.. Also when your team does not even care that they are killed by same guy in bomber so i can do my job on my own now.. 🙂

@GUTENTAAAAG The fliegerfaust is most useful against enemy planes that do strafing runs or are flying too low as they are trying to locate and bomb targets. But think of it like this - the opportunity cost, def "the loss of potential gain from other alternatives when one alternative is chosen", is that on tanking or infantry only maps you could have equipped a far more effective gadget. It's currently useless against tanks, and that's a good thing, as you're being penalized for carrying it. So, it's a very specialized weapon that's really only effective on certain maps and situations.
Even on maps like Fjell where it's the most perfect weapon, the fliegerfaust is a relatively fair counter. Why? Currently, on any one on one match up between planes and AA guns, the planes should win most of the time, all else constant. In reality, planes completely decimate the battlefield on Fjell, even when you have AAs and enemy planes. If you're an excellent pilot, then it's no competition. Adding the fliegerfaust makes these pilots think twice about flying too low, and force them to fly at much higher altitudes more often now.
1 guy can take down an airplane with no effort in 1 passing. What the hell.
Nerf damage by 50% and add reload time 100% NOW1 pilot can bomb a dozen or more people in one run.
That's all pilots will have, 1 run. Besides, everyone is usually revived lol...
On most maps, such as Panzerstorm, going Fliegerfaust as an assault is not a good idea when the much bigger threat are the onslaught of tanks in front of you. It's a very specailized weapon that I think is being over-exaggerated. Yes, it's powerful, but pilots can manage.
How?
They can damage you with up to 80 damage with 1 hit and if you come at the wrong angle they can easily reload and shoot for the second time.

From my own experience, I stopped trying to fly predictable and still be able to bomb or strafe run the enemy with little to no effort. 🙂
Feels like a good balance so far from my experience.
/Atic@GUTENTAAAAG I usually fly my plane at very high altitude with the bombers. I never really have an issue with the fliegerfaust.
Well they buffed the bombers with higher splash damage and slower bomb dropping. Both TTK and TTD went up. Ok.
No 20% damage and 50% reload speed I hate this bloody weapon ruins the game I can't fly high I was at bomber altitude and still got shot down I hate this weapon
Nerfing the Fliegerfaust is gonna be unavoidable...
It looks like the fliegerfaust will be nerfed overall, much to no one's surprise. I'm guessing... one fewer salvo, and a longer reload time. One detail that's known is that there will require greater accuracy for the salvo of less than the current 7m or less. However IIRC, the range will increase.
