Frustrating bugs with Battlefield V
I recently bought battlefield V on steam due to it being on sale. I launched the game and it said I could not connect to EA servers, I thought "oh well I'll just play the war stories meanwhile" So I did that, finished the Nordlys mission and got the achievement, I then go back to the main menu and see I still cant connect, so I restart the game, I get the introduction and play that, noticed that the game was super laggy even tho it was running fine before, then I see that the connection issue is still not fixed, and worse it says I haven't done Nordlys at all!, I quit battlefield and launch it again, same thing, the introduction starts again (game is still super laggy), This process repeats 4 times before I try reinstalling. resetting my pc, verifying the game files 2 times, updating my drivers, still not fixed, I cant find any solution to this at all.
about my connection: NO my connection is stable and its not bad, I can use any other application without any network trouble yet I still have problems with Battlefield V
Update:
I have been in Discord with OP figuring out the issue.
Part of the issue with FPS was resolved by clearing the Origin cache.
Edit: solution was a mixture of launching the game in admin mode and disabling one drive.
