G-Sync not working anymore

I am unable to enable G-Sync in Battlefield V. I have tried switching display mode. I even attempted to manually adjust settings in the configuration files, but that didn’t help either. The G-Sync indicator might briefly appear when the game launches, but it eventually disappears and G-Sync does not seem to function as expected.
