Game Crashing With no Errors just a CrashDump report

Gaming keeps crashing soon as I press "Play" from the Origin window.

Origin disappears and acts like it is going to load the game, then re-appears in less then 30 seconds with "Play" displaying. The only thing it does it create a CrashDump file that I have submitted to support but have gotten no were since they have suggested to:

Clear my %ProgramData% & %AppData%

Disable all start services or non window services

Neither worked.

I have checked Win10 updates - up to date

I have checked nvidia GPU updates - up to date

I have moved my game DIR to my local C and ran repair - No go

Disabled SLI and re-enabled it, tried in both modes - No go

Uninstalled Origin and reinstalled it - No go

I do not wish to remove the game completely due to the size to re-download.

Please see attached files, the game was running fine last week. I have not changed anything on my system in that week either.

Would be great if support would allow emails so I can send the crash-dump files verse having to wait over an hour for chat support. Cannot seem to attach that file here since .mdmp is not a supported type here. Please help, almost certain this must be a bug.

  • @EA_Atic I failed to mention that event viewer yields no application crash logs or events. Super frustrating, as far as I can tell the only thing being created is the CrashDump report.

I restored to deleting all files expect for the “core game data” and ran a repair, sadly Origin took this move as “I deleted the game” so it reloaded all 70gb which took 3hours. How ever this resolved my issues.

This problem seems bizarre in its own right since deleting all of the files shouldn’t be a solution. This is the 3rd time this has happened to me in general. Hopefully I’m not updating this again after the next small bug patch.

  • Hey @ToxM82  Thanks for the super details post! Big plus! 🙂

If you into the windows event viewer do you see any  Battlefield logs crashing in there? If you do can you take a screenshot and load them up here on the forum post. 🙂

    Thanks!

Awesome that is solved it, it sounds like there where bad game data after an update while ideally, this should not happen and not a common occurrence it does happen. One of the reasons why we recommend reinstalling a game. @ToxM82

  • I am facing same issue since last update. Game will start, I will be able to join server, but within the matter f a minute game will crash. No errors

@LittleBoySVK Bit different of an issue then I was personally having. My game wouldn't even load.

The fix for me was to sadly remove the game and reload it all 74GB RIP ATT network and data limits...

Try changing a few of your GPU settings, window mode verse full screen or visa versa. DX11 only if you're running DX12 etc.
