I cant play multiplayer at all. My game just freezes. When I went and checked out windows event log, I could find this:
DCOM ERROR 10016:
The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {2593F8B9-4EAF-457C-B68A-50F6B8EA6B54} and APPID {15C20B67-12E7-4BB6-92BB-7AFF07997402} to the user {PCNAME}{USERNAME} SID (S-1-5-21-298442425-1714646926-1846769863-1001) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.
I was unable to fix this, even by taking manually ownership of the mentioned registries.
That event just tells you that your instanced logon to Windows is where the problem is. Unfortunately the event logs are a myriad of mostly useless info.
the latest Nvidia drivers should fix most of the problems along with a repair install of the.exe

No probs😉
If you have a 2080 GPU - keep DXR "Direct X Raytracing" switched - OFF. I think this is an ongoing issue.
High fidelity - DXR - ON. High Framerate DXR - OFF. (once it works properly)

This seemed to work. I had the latest NVIDIA drivers for my brand new 2080 and the new Windows 10 update in order to use DXR settings, but when I disabled DX12 and DXR the game seems to be stable now. I guess I'll have to see what happens when I enable DX12 but keep DXR off, that I haven't tried yet. Thanks for the tip.
