I have turned off all overlays (GeForce Experience and Discord), went into my task manager and closed a lighting software for some of my RGB that has caused problems for other games and I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the game with the problem still occurring. I use Origin Premier but I do own the base game of Battlefield 5. This is also the first time I've tried to play in several months.

Much appreciated! Have you had a chance to try starting up your PC in a Clean Boot to see if that helps at all? If there's anything else running on your PC in the background causing the crashing that should allow us to bypass it.

For more info on how to set up a Clean Boot check out the article we've got set up over at the EA Help site. Let me know if you're still running into crashes.

@MrMisoAsian It's definitely weird that it would start crashing like this after you hadn't played for a bit. Would you be able to get a DxDiag for me so I can take a look at that?

    /Kent

  • Sorry that I'm responding so late to you to my problem with the game. I have just finished my semester of college and the last month I was very busy with school and travel. Since I posted my problem I have ended my premier membership but I am still having the same problem with Battlefield. I ran a DxDiag and have attached it to this.

Were you able to try setting up a Clean Boot? Are you still running into crashes?

    /Kent

  • Yes I just did a clean boot and I'm still running into the same crashes I had before.

Thanks for following up! I'm sorry to hear this is still giving you trouble.

Do you have BFV installed on a different storage device than the Origin client itself? If so, can you try moving it over to the same drive as Origin to see if that helps? I've seen some strange issues happen when Origin and the game library on separate drives.

Hi @NicoBro101 This thread is from 2019 so I'm going to have to close it due to the age. Feel free to start a new thread if you're experiencing a similar issue, though.
