Game returns to war story menu at cut screen of lady falling from rocks

  1. Nordlys mission when in storm, chasing satchel you get to the scene where she slips and snatches satchel, it's supposed to go to cutscene where she falls in frozen lake. Instead it either locks up and turns off game completely, or forces me back to main menu. Either way I cannot finish that mission and its annoying as Hell.

    Hi y'all,

    I'm having exactly the same problem on PC.

    Windows has been updated to build 18362 (newest), Nvidia driver 431.60

    My system specs are the following:

    I7 - 7700K

    16gb corsair vengeance 3200mhz

    MSI GTX 1070

    I am running on 2560x1080 resolution (ultrawide)

    Things that have been tried:

    - DirectX11 and DirectX12

    - Disabling game mode in windows

    - Bringing down quality settings

    The game keeps returning to main menu for some reason...

    My system is not overclocked

    If anyone has any ideas, please share them 🙂

      @Shooter93901 Okay so I don't know how but it seems to have fixed itself?

      I played the Trailleur campaign first and then went back to nordlys and I suddenly just resumed like normally.

        @Shooter93901 hey, did you resume with your savegame or did you start nordlys all over?
