Game Says I Have the Trial version

So, my friend is game sharing their Gamepass Ultimate with me and wanted me to play Battlefield 5 with them. I installed the game and played through all the War Stories no problem and then I tried to queue up for a game and it says it's unavailable for people who are on the trial version of the game. Thing is, I don't own the trial version, I have never even touched Battlefield 5 before today. I played Battlefield 1 and never ran into this issue. It's only when I try to play online and I just don't know what to do. I've tried restarting my console, power cycling, the whole 9 yards. Even in my storage for the game it says I have the base game so I just don't know what's happening.

  • I went through Xbox support and turns out Battlefield 5 multiplayer can't be game shared. So PSA for anyone with the same issue I had, it's just Battlefield 5 that has this issue.

  • Hi @v2h2jl74acz3 When this has happened in the past, Xbox Live support have been able to remove the trial status. I'm not sure if they'll be able to help if you're using your friend's Gamepass, but it might be worth getting in touch with them.
