How do activate Stuka dive break specialty upgrade?

If it’s a passive perk it’s not working. I have flown the JU87 in flight sim since 1990s.

I dive, drop bombs, pull up and it actually seems worse and harder to not crash since I’ve trained the dive break specialty.

in addition having to waste a specialty perk to disable the dive siren on the Stuka is one of the dumbest things I’ve seen in a flight combat game in my entire life. It should be an on/off toggle(hold Y on console). Devs must have had a hangover on the day they came up with requiring specialty training to disable the dive siren.

  • @Psychopski I feel you're taking the term 'flight combat game' and 'flight sim' with way too much literacy.

Battlefield is a cross between what would be a sim and arcade style gameplay on all levels, especially with aircraft. The Dive breaks are a passive type of specialization where they'll activate when you pull back on the throttle while simultaneously pulling up on the stick.

As for the removal of the siren, this is a choice that allows the Stuka to act more as a somewhat covert heavy fighter, by eliminating the Jericho trumpets can be heard on the other side of the map. The amount of times I have selected that specialization, coupled with the 20mm cannons and snuck up on an unsuspecting fighter who either:
    A) hasn't heard me or
    B) Expecting me to be running default 2x 7.92mm LMG's

and just blitzed them in no time flat is one of the most satisfying things to do in the game.....I like to call it the 'no one suspects the butterfly' trick.

BFV flight mechanics are very different compared to nearly every flight game out there, it'll take some time but keep practicing and you'll adapt 🙂
