That's definitely strange.
Have you had the chance to try repairing the game to see if that makes any difference? If you're playing through Origin you can right-click on BFV in the game Library, and you'll see a Repair option when the menu pops up.

Yes, I believe so since thats usually my go to for steam. I also uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. Not a completely clean install though. I can try all this when I get home.
