I tried to roll back the NVIDIA driver and it worked. Hope this will help to everyone who are facing this issue.
Heya, Thanks for the information @NaniDafuq @GB-Kane, Glad to hear its working. :D
For everyone else can you provide a Dxdiag for us if it's not working for you so we can see what drivers and hardware you are using.

@EA_Atic I am still having the issue. Rolled back to 416.81, running 1809 update, deleted settings file in Documents, repaired, re downloaded BFV, not sure how to switch to DX11/12 without starting the game or having a .cfg file. DXdiag is attached.
Edit 1: I restored my settings file and attempted to change between DX11 and 12. No luck.
Edit 2: Updated to latest Nvidia driver and tried a DX11 and 12 start. No luck.

@EA_Atic Rolling back the drivers hasn’t worked for me. I tried the last 5 drivers released (starting at the latest) and none of them have worked (clean install with DDU each time).
I can get a Dxdiag shortly. Really frustrating it was working and then suddenly wasn’t! - 7 years ago@PearGrylls909 I got one of my friends profile settings file (who uses the same hardware as me) in case they were corrupt, didn’t make a difference. I’ve also done the config change to force DX11/12 and hasn’t worked for me either.
- PearGrylls9097 years agoSeasoned NoviceYeah it sucks. I was playing on Windows 1803 with the latest drivers using both DX11 and 12. Then I went and updated to 1809 so I could enable Raytracing and everything went to *.

@PearGrylls909 even worse, I had it working on Windows 1803 with 416.8x, updated to Windows 1809 with 416.8x, then updated to 416.9x and all 3 of those scenarios worked. Came off for an hour or so, went to launch the game again and then it didn’t work! Ever since then, I’ve never been able to play.

@tomsinclair1994, hopefuly @EA_Atic will have a fix for us. Whats your hardware? I am running a 6700k on a Hero VIII with a MSI RTX2080.

@PearGrylls909 Hope so! I’m running a 8700k on z370 Strix-F with an EVGA RTX 2080 FTW3

Looks like they just pushed a tiny update, but no effect here.

@PearGrylls909 doesn’t give me hope but I’ll try it when I get home

I'm about to ask for a refund. Haven't been able to launch the game. Click the button, does nothing but cloud save sync, then nothing and the button to start the game comes back on again. Literally nothing happening. No visible crashes, no anything. I've played so many games this year on this PC with zero problems or crashes, I stay away from EA games usually because EA sucks so much, but I took a chance on BF5 and thats what I get for buying an EA game.

I've done everything. Reinstalled, ran repair, rolled back drivers, cleaned origin cache, ran CC Cleaner, did a clean boot, disabled dx12. Nothing is working and I'm going to lose my mind.

Totally agreed

Me as well. Talked to support numerous times. Did the 40 some odd gig reinstall. Still botched. Frustrating.

@PearGrylls909 so I got home... no update, hit play and now it works?! My system has not had any changes since this morning yet it's now working?! I'm starting to think there might have been a problem with DRM/authentication behind the scenes on the actual accounts. I saw a previous post that mentioned having the game pre-ordered and having Origin Premier may have been the issue (they spoke to EA support) - interestingly I had the game pre-ordered and then cancelled it and got Origin Premier in October.
Will see how it goes, but as of now I can launch the game and play!

I have the exact same issue as you. Did you came up with any solution?
