A friend of mine had the same issue (game starting and closing right after) i gave him my account, the game started without crashing, then he switched back to his account and it fixed his problem with his account too.
I guess it's a cloud sync corruption problemor something like that.
I have the exact same problems as described here. I made a hardware change this morning (I switched my GPU to another PCI-E slot, God...) and since then I received the error "too many computers accessed" blablabla.
After some trial and error work with EA-support nothing changed and they advised me to wait 24 hours for the soft-ban to leave. Sure thing. Later today, out of curiosity I opened the client, and now, nothing happens.
I strongly believe this is related to the DRM system, it seems to be messed up. I am reinstalling the game now (going to bed anyways) but am pretty sure it will not help. This is something that EA has to fix on their side, I believe.
Origin keeps writing logs to C:/ProgramData/Origin/Logs/bfv_196216_OnlineActivation_Log.html containing the following; pretty sure this is related.

Hi everyone,
I've played the Beta of BF5 : no problem at all.
So I've bought the game, installed it, launched it at the release (20th): MP or solo game, crashes everytime !
Without a single error message.
I've tried most of the things I read around (DDU reinstall driver, reinstall the game, Origin, clear the cache, clean boot, CCleaner, all the different settings, turn off DX12, etc.).
Most of the time, the game connects me on a MP game, it either crashes after the loading screen, on a black screen, OR even after seeing the map a few seconds.
I've also tried connecting on a friends account, same crash.
I've switched the language from FR to EN, doesn't change.
I've tried installing on both my SSD and standard HDD, doesn't change.
Repairing the game, coming back on previous drivers, updating windows to 1809, no change...
I'm really desperate... I would like either to play the game or a refund and never play a EA game again if I have no solution ☹️ but first option would be preferrable ...
BF4 works perfectly, the demo of BF1 and beta of BF5 worked perfectly too... so it's not a hardware issue.

Can't launch from Origin at all after install. Play button simply goes gray, then returns roughly 5-10 seconds later, and the game never launches from the Origin launcher.
Please help!

Update: My problem fixed itself. As mentioned before, it resulted from switching my GPU and getting the 'too many computers' error. Then the error dissapeared and the game just didnt start.
From this morning (I did reinstall), the game starts and runs perfectly smooth. However, do note that I think the problem fixes itself, as DRM is on EA's side.
I hope others have it fixed too.
