The game does show up in taskmanager, en Origin says ''in game - BF5''. But then it shut down by itself and I go back to Origin.
I both used Origin for launch and desktop shotcut.
I removed BF5 settings folder, did not work. I must say, I dont have the '' PROFSAVE_profile'' file in the settings map... Maybe that is causing the problem?
The profile will be made once the game starts up correctly. Please check all game files using the Origin repair + update functions. Also check if your GPU driver is up to date manually. Please add a msinfo of your system so it can be looked at by a EA representative (and please delete the IP address in the report manually).

I tried repair multiple times, did not work. I am 100% sure I have the latest nvidia drivers. GeForce Experience says no updates available, and downloaded from nvidia website.
I already removed Origin and BF5 completely, and reinstalled. No luck...

Oke i understand that but it never helps to check the files themselves at this stage. If you are using a Virus scanner or Firewall please disable them temporarily and try again. Also please do not forget to add your msinfo or some other form of detailed system information that might help getting this thing sorted asap?

Are you still having trouble launching the game or did @2042isNotBF's steps fix it for you?- 6 years ago
Game was working fine until the update a few weeks ago. Now it crashes on launch. No error message, just straight to desktop. Given all the crazy testing and different configuring of settings on our ends I'm 100% convinced that the update broke something.
It's frankly ridiculous that we can't play a game that we paid for.
