I have questions about "Our Anti-Cheat Approach in Battlefield V"

Ok, I have read this posting and I have questions. Under the section "How do I report a suspected cheater?", there is a link . I am clicking on it, thinking it will take me to another posting or article. This does not, it takes me right to the main page of the Answers HQ. So is this link broken or this correct?

I came across a posting titled "Where are the hacker?", where a fellow AHQ community team member posted a link to report cheaters. which took me to EA Help web page. Once there, an article named "Report players for cheating, abuse, and harassment". Under "report in game", from there to "Battlefield 5, Battlefield 1, and Battlefield 4 - console and pc. Then it gave step by step instructions how to report in game cheaters. I followed this step by step all the way to "in-game behavior" or more accurate "in- game behavior or things created or shared within game". Which I selected, it takes me to the next screen. This then states "if a player in a game is offensive or causing trouble, go back to the game, and report the player using the game's report function. (some games might not have a report function.) You can also block the player." There are options: block or ok. My question is, does block submit the report or does ok submit the report?

There is another set of instructions to report cheaters in the same article. Battle log website option (console and pc), so I go to battle log website. I log in, Battlefield 5 and Battlefield 1 are not listed. My question is, when will battlefield 5 be added so I can use the reporting system?

Please advise, thank you

I was pointing out that I followed every instructions supplied by EA to report cheaters on ps4 and finding out the results that there is no reporting systems at all for ps4. I posted to see how EA would respond. They responded that what I posted was accurate and that I should login to my origin account and report by overlay. Which I login into origin and find no overlay. I watched you tube video to find it with no luck. So I posted a question asking where I can find it and I got no response.

  • The easiest way to submit a report on PC is while you’re in game. While in an active game, hit the Esc key, click scoreboard on the menu to the left. Choose the appropriate name on the scoreboard and click to highlight it. From there click profile on the bottom left of the scoreboard. This opens a new window, verify that the players name displayed is the one you wish to report. Click the circle at the top with the dropdown arrow in it and choose report user. A new window overlay opens, choose the reason why you are reporting this player in the two drop down menus. Don’t forget to include your details in the open text box at the bottom.

Cliff notes version: Esc, scoreboard, player name, profile, report.
  • Is there a way to attach a video that shows obvious cheating recorded during spectating? I feel like that will be absolute proof that the person in question is definitely cheating.

  • I believe the first link circles you back to AHQ because it originally brought you to the BF forums - i'll ping someone about that
