@AOD_CapStar362I think it does reset, so preferable move the folder too the desktop and move back if no progress is made.
-does your Logi device have its own (active) software, maybe try disabling it or uninstalling completely
-also if your system comes with onboard audio try disabling this in the bios
-make sure no old realtek / nahemic software is installed
-also test if your mic is functional under windows sound\imput > listen too device
no it does not have active software for the headset, only the G502 HERO and G110 KB.
disabled the SPDIF, that worked, but, i actively switch to it when streaming movies and other activities such as Winamp. and sometimes put games to it.
im gonna try resetting the profile folder, ill copy my keybinds file specifically

i see others also have problems as you describe. In this topic multiple options are suggested that might work for you: BF forum

@XTRA-LarsianoAHHAA!!
found it, the one setting i forgot about, that a recent windows update changed.
"Default Communication Device"
sadly, this is not part of the default menu system for Win10. you have to go back into the legacy CPL and under sound, set the preferred "Communication" device.
ok, NOW it works.
thanks for the link to the other topic where someone mentioned that. all good now
