Is Reshade banned?

I recently downloaded Reshade to edit my Escape from tarkov a bit and I was wondering If I could use this for Battlefield games too?
I also saw a bunch of people on forums complain that they got banned for it on battlefield 5, so I don't want to risk it.

I just want to add a bit of color and clarity to my game, but I feel like the Nvidia option in the control panel takes away way too much fps compared to reshade.
