Its 2022 and you still cant cross plat invite from pc to xbox vice versa
Why wont EA allow you to invite cross platform friends to a game? I see their EA ID in my friends list but it wont send a invite and they cannot invite me from their xbox

Generally these situations will depend on the options a particular game has set up, so it may vary from one title to the next.
Which game were you running into trouble with in this case?
Battlefield 2042 and V. I’m guessing it’s just battlefield then since apex seems to allow me to invite ea friends even when running from steam. If I ran battlefield off origin would that fix my issues?
- @dTeezYx There isn't a crossplay feature in Battlefield V unfortunately, but there is for 2042. However, your friends would need to be on a current gen console for it to work, as there are two different versions of the game (Xbox Series S/X and PS5 can crossplay with PC but Xbox One and PS4 cannot).
