Letters are bugged and I am unable to 100% Under No Flag

Summarize your bug I was trying to unlock the melee weapon on Under no flag. The requirements are to complete all he challenges and find the letters. I completed all challenges. But it said I didn't collect all the letters. When playing under no flag, butcher and bolt level, I collected all the letters but on the main menu it says I'm missing one letter. But I got all the letters and now I can't get the unique melee weapon. Can guys fix it. Much appreciated.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? The war story under no flag, act butcher and bolt. I collected my first letter at the start of the mission but then I saved and exit the game. I come back on Later and find all the letters.
What happens when the bug occurs? After finishing the act, I went to main menu and went to armory to pick up my reward but it's not there. I go back war stories, and under no flag, act butcher and bolt. It says I'm still missing a letter but I got them all
What should be happening instead? I should have the cricket bat melee weapon after finding and completing all letters

The bug is not letting complete the game at at 100% and can't get my melee weapon because of the bug

    • I have the same problem on PS4, have collected all the letters and done all the challenges. It says I have 6/6 in game, but at the main screen for loading it says I’m missing 2 letters. So there’s no way to complete the challenge and collect the cricket bat that I’m entitled to.
    • EA you really need to fix this kinda thing, it’s way too buggy atm which is detracting from the game itself. What is the solution on your end to fix this particular problem?

    Same here stuck on butcher and bolt it says i have all the letters but then i back out to main menu and im missing one but have them all some how. Not sure what to do but it definitely dosent make me want to go and play any other content if they cant fix a bug like this in the signle player story line.

    hi guys,

    it is a real pain to see that the Letter bug which was there from the start is still around. Luckily there is a procedure to overcome it.

    Have you tried the standard Troubleshooting procedure for this problem:

    For PC:

    1. Go to Documents->Battlefield V->settings - Move all files out to desktop,
    2. Within Origin disable the cloud save feature and start game,
    3. Do the mission's you are not getting the challenge counting again -> hopefully get the reward
    4. Close game and put files (see1) back.

    For PS4: 

    1. Export the game save files to an USB drive.
    2. Delete the game save files in the console.
    3. Start the game. You'll have to adjust contrast and play again the intro.
    4. Now, play the War Story and complete the bugged challenge. It will show correctly achieved.
    5. Close the game, and restore the game save files from the USB to the console.
    6. Start the game, and you'll have your reward at the armory.

    For Xbox:

    1. Please move the saved file from the Xbox to a USB stick,
    2. Clear local and cloud saves for BFV. (This wont remove multi player data)
    3. Start the game. You'll have to adjust contrast and play again the intro.
    4. Now, play the War Story and complete the bugged challenge. It will show correctly achieved.
    5. lose the game, and restore the game save files from the USB to the console.
    6. Start the game, and you'll have your reward at the armory.
