Summarize your bug The M1928A1 Thompson cannot be switched to semi-auto mode in-game.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Load into a multiplayer match as a medic using the Thompson. Use the "fire mode" key (default "V") to attempt to switch firing mode to semi-auto.
What happens when the bug occurs? The Thompson remains in full-auto mode and cannot be changed to fire in semi-auto mode.
What should be happening instead? The Thompson should be able to toggle between full-auto and semi-auto when the "fire mode" key is pressed, just like the Suomi, MP 28, MP 34, etc. are able to.
The in-game model for the Thompson viewable in the armory (attached) shows a switch on the gun that allows it to toggle between full-auto and semi-auto firing modes. In a multiplayer match, it is impossible to get the Thompson to fire in semi-auto mode. Not only is this an issue with authenticity, it also has a huge impact on gameplay because the full-auto and semi-auto modes change how guns handle in the game.
Of note, this occurs in every multiplayer mode and the practice range, the form just doesn't have the option to select "all modes."
