M30 Drilling "Switch Weapon" Not Functioning

Summarize your bug Switching to your pistol during the reload animation of the M30 Drilling Support shotgun is impossible if you're reloading the rifle round, unlike every other weapon, where you can switch to your pistol instead of reloading to finish off a target. You can switch to the pistol during the reload animation of the shotgun shells perfectly fine, but not during the reload animation of the rifle. Interestingly enough though, you can interrupt the rifle reload animation by switching to a gadget, or switching fire modes from the rifle mode to the shotgun, and then you can either shoot with the shotgun, or change weapons to the pistol. The only interaction that seems to be broken is switching directly to the pistol during the reload animation.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go into any game mode with the M30 Drilling, Hold triangle to switch firing modes to the rifle, Fire the rifle shot, While the reload animation is playing, tap the triangle button to try to switch to the pistol. You will be unable to switch to the pistol during the reload animation. Fire the rifle shot again, While the reload animation is playing, hold the triangle button to switch firing modes. You will interrupt the reload animation of the rifle reload properly. Currently, the only way to switch to your pistol as fast as possible after firing the rifle shot is: Fire the rifle shot, Press and hold triangle immediately during the reload animation to switch firing modes. The instant the reload animation has stopped and you're in the shotgun firing mode, release triangle and tap triangle again. You will then have your pistol out, but had to go through an "in-between" step to get there, which is slow and clunky.
What happens when the bug occurs? You are unable to switch to your pistol during the M30 Drilling rifle reload animation.
What should be happening instead? You should be able to switch to your pistol during the animation, just as easily as you're able to switch firing modes.

This bug makes the M30 Drilling, which looks like it has the potential to be one of my favourite weapons, completely unplayable. Having only one rifle round means that if I land a body shot at medium to long range and don't kill the target with that one shot, I need to switch to my pistol as fast as possible to be able to finish off the target. Because I can't switch to my pistol like I should be able to, this allows the enemy to take cover, or kill me. This error prevents me from being effective with the rifle round, because while I can quickly switch to the shotgun shells after firing the rifle round, the shotgun shells do nothing for me at medium to long range.

This bug isn't only in Conquest as my bug report states, and I don't know if it's in single player as well, but filling out the form forced me to pick a mode and game type. This error may be on xbox too, but perhaps it's not on PC, since the PC has different button mappings? This error has been in the game since the beta, but I never reported it because I assumed someone else would have, but now it's made it into the live game.

Please fix this bug as soon as possible, as I'd love to play with the M30 Drilling more, but since the frustrations I dealt with in the beta, as soon as I discovered the bug was in the live game, it's made me want to stay far away from it until it gets fixed.
