Mic cuts out on Discord and Messenger PC

Recently when launching Battlefield V it will after 5 or so minutes cut out my ability to talk in voice channels in Discord and on Messenger calls the mic picks me up but others have mentioned my voice is broken into sections, laggy and robotic. My headset is corded and plugged directly into the audio jack of the laptop. I tested in another game and I was able to continue talking in the voice channel. 

My VOIP in BFV is set no OFF and my video settings Borderless

If anyone has any guidance or support I would appreciate it, very hard to play games with others when I am unable to use voice in other apps
