Naval Warfare - The Battle of Midway

To any of the DICE devs, CMs, etc. For those who go back to the beginning of this franchise, one of the greatest maps on Battlefield 1942 was the Battle of Midaway. The ability to use Battleships, Destoryers, Aircraft Carriers, Landing Craft and those sweet sweet submarines (not biased I swear lol), is something I imagine many people would love to experience again.

While I understand no one at DICE can reveal future updates, is it possible to know if the idea of bringing back that scale of naval warfare for BFV (especially for the future pacific update) has ever been discussed within the development team and possibly considered for future updates or has the notion of large scale naval warfare been decided to be phased out of this and future BF titles?

Any information would be highly appreciated, thank you.

Info about content that was not showed or talked about will stay under cover. There is BFV RoadMap with content we know that come soon, any other content after Chapter 4 is still 'secret' and i think that EA / DICE will show us something when we are getting close to Chapter 5.

Here is what's coming to #BattlefieldV in Chapter 4 and Pacifik will be in Chapter 5:

@WindowsManTv_CZE We've all seen this roadmap but due to delay after delay and the fact this is an entirely different game to BF1942 perhaps they are not going down the naval warfare path at all and if that was the case they shouldn't have an issue with announcing something they aren't planning on doing.
