Number Keys (1, 2, and 3) make my game stutter/freeze
So at any point in the game, even in the main menus, when I use the keys 1, 2, and 3 the game will freeze briefly for a second or two. Doing this after immediately loading into a match will crash the...
- make sure RTX is OFF
- Reset bfv graphics configuration to defaults (or delete documents\battlefield v\settings)
- try a driver cleaner
- update motherboard chipset driver, SSD or NVMe driver and Windows
- defragment game drive or trimm of on SSD
- disable background applications (virus scanners, mouse software, RGB software, windows update)
- try a windows cleanboot
- run origin as administrator (right click > run as admin)
- try DX11
