@SovereignCitiznPffft. You think them telling the playerbase is taking time from fixing the problem? Community managers aren't devs. So having more communication isn't taking dev time.
I agree. You're right. It's better to just take the time to copy and paste a former announcement about a problem that has no new updates since the last time a post was made instead of waiting to address an issue when the problem has an update that could be reported. SMH
I agree that EA made a very poor decision to not address the issue sooner. This has been reported since February '19 but it must not have been enough of a priority for them to address since not many people were experiencing this issue. Now, literally everyone is experiencing this game breaking issue and they have no idea how to resolve it but, like I said in a previous post, they should revert the game to what it was pre-patch where people could still play the game and progress their character. This would be the easiest fix and the fastest way to appease players all of whom, I'm sure, would prefer to have the game playable like it was pre-patch than broken and frustrating like it is now. They could release the new patch after it has been fixed. This would allow the devs time to fix the bug while, in the meantime, having a game playable and working as intended.
Currently, EA is hemorrhaging loyalty and that loyalty will likely never be won back since most, at this point, don't have confidence in those behind the title to provide a stable, working game. The longer this goes unresolved, the more damaging it becomes to the EA brand and it damages the company. My recommendation: if you have stock in EA, sell it now.
