Hey guys, to everyone who maybe still experiences this problem I wanted to tell you I fixed it (after trying all the usual methods-update drivers, repair, clear cache, etc.) - it was fixed for me (and hopefully for everyone) by shutting down the pc, switching the flip switch on the back of the power supply to off (the - 0 ((on/off)) switch), unplugging the power cord, holding down on the desktop Power button on the top or front of the pc (and at that point, cord unplugged, my pc actually made a turning on noise and a couple of the graphic card lights lit up too- both of these indicating built up electromagnetic energy in the computer that needed to be cleared out) Electromagnetic energy can build up over time, and even the normal shutting down of the computer doesn't clear it out so this aforementioned method took care of it. Plugged the cord back in, flipped the power supply switch to on (--> - 0) and turned the top/front pc power button on and when I booted up and logged in, I started up Battlefield V and it worked. After days (maybe like a week or so) of not being able to play and trying everything including uninstalling reinstalling. P.S. My settings folder in the Battlefield V folder in Documents was gone the entire time as well and oddly repairing and clearing the cache and reinstalling the game didn't auto populate a new settings folder there. Now, after trying that clearing method, there is a working settings file there. Finally, I had been noticing some other issues going on with my computer, minor issues that I noticed like a freezing issue with my sound application in the bottom right hand corner and a couple other games crashing or having issues starting up initially- and all the software and drivers were up to date so that was odd. Now it's all good and I hope this helps!
