[PC] Battlefield V Mouse lags / freezes /slow downs

The problem is basically what the title implies.

The ways that i tried to "fix" my issues were:
- Washing my Mouse mat  and buying a new Mouse (G502). (Nothing)
- Installing my Mouse drivers and re installing them. (Nothing)
- Tried removing one Core out of my 8 cores to give some breathing space for my mouse and let it use more resources (the 8th core in particular) (some little improvement, but almost nothing)
- Get a SSD to see if that fixed my issue. (Helped just a little bit)

Side notes:
= I already have origin in-game overlay disabled.
= I cant use DX 11 because the games runs so bad on it that im basically forced to use DX 12. (DX 12 runs from 15% to 35% better for my current Build)
= Hammada is where i usually get this problem more often.
= I usually have some programs open (Discord, Steam, Origin and Razer Game Booster)
= Already check if the issue was related to my mouse (thinking that it was a bad mouse) and the mouse works fine on a lot of games (even tried to use BF4 as a comparison and i didn't had any single issue whit my mouse.
= I know that My rig is more than capable to run this game because my Cpu is Well above the recommended and my Gpu is the recommended one.

I just ended up formatting the computer and that fixed my problem.

  • After trying so many solutions like reducing graphics settings, disable origin in game. I realize it's related to your mouse setting. I'm using logitech G502 and there's no such problem in any other games I've played: CSGO, Apex Legends and etc. I found a solution to fix this problem by simply reducing your mouse report rate in logitech G Hub and maybe get the latest version of logitech G Hub. Hope it helps.

I would recommend taking that g502 back for a refund.  Many people, including myself, have issues with the cheap mouse contacts on the left and/or right mouse buttons get worn and no longer contact the pad.  My g502 started acting up about a year after I bought it.  Logitech will want you to go through multiple "diagnostic" tests to correct the problem but getting a replacement from them is super difficult considering the amount of people reporting the problem

  • I had this problem with a Zowie mouse which has no proprietary drivers or software in Sept 2021 using windows 11 insider preview. It therefore couldn't be a mouse software problem. What I found was that I had a rubber-band type problem where if I shfted left and right back and forth rapidly, the cursor was like it was lagging on the end of a rubber band. In fact if I did say ten shakes side to side, it was falling behind and would do the last left-right-left after I'd stopped moving.

I dropped the USB polling rate from 1,000hz to 125hz and the issue was fixed immediately. It looks like either windows or BFV has a problem with higher poll rates. I'm going BFV because BF4 is not doing it at all. Anyway - change your poll rate - that's all there is to it.

I'm closing this thread to stop it from being necroed.

If you have any issues with Battlefield, please make a new topic about your problems and what kind of steps you have tried to solve them.
