[PC] Can't Launch BF5, error message: Please update your Microsoft Basic Render.

Can't Launch BF5, error message: Please update your Microsoft Basic Render Driver driver. I've updated all drivers and tried a clean install of graphics updates. I've gone into Nvidia control panel...

    Yes i did, but it turned out that the problem was actualy not properly instaled windows october update.

@ggsalem

Make sure your display is connected to your video card and not your motherboard and then follow these steps:

  1. Open the nvidia Control Panel
  2. Click Manage 3D settings
  3. Click the Program Settings tab
  4. Click the Add button
  5. Select the game from the list or click browse and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield V\bfv.exe
  6. Select bfv.exe and then Open
  7. Customise individual settings if you like
  8. Exit nvidia control panel and try playing.

      Hey, @ggsalem make sure that all drivers for windows and your gpu drivers are up to date.

      You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Battlefield V and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

      Try running a CCleaner to remove old temp files and cache.

    Hi,

    I have just bought the game today and i have the exact same problem, Im out of ideas as well. Please help.

    Also I have read specifications of ggsalem and  we both have pretty much the same specifications (I5 7300 2,50 Ghz, GTX 1050 4GB, 8Gb ram etc.) and maybe even the same laptop.
