Performance Issues and low FPS with GTX 970 and i5 4690

Hi Dice,

I love your Battlefield 5 but unfortunately I have massive performance issues and fps drops in Battlefield 1 and 5. At Star Wars Battelfront 1 and 2 it was never like that. What can this be? Why have I these Problems with Battlefield. Please help me. I would like to play your games smoothly.

Greetings

Lars

  • Hey, @Bob4Fit make sure that all drivers for windows and your gpu drivers are up to date.

You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with FIFA19 and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

Try running a CCleaner to remove old temp files and cache.

Let me know if this works or not for you. 🙂

  • Hi Bob4fit,

For my system there is a significant frame boost if I set the option  "future

frame rendering" to on (advanced settings). I`m playing with an outdated

Intel i7-2600 and an Asus GTX 1060 graphics card, the difference is about

15-20 fps - average fps are 70 fps with constant frametimes.

    Greetings
