I think you need a weapon that's level 10 or more to get mastery challenges.

    no, weapons at lvl 10 just unlocks weapon assignment for mastery.
    lvl  20  assault class unlocks class mastery assignments

    Im level 20 and i have 3 guns on level 10 but i dont have it
