@LethalBonk did you manage to solve the problem or were able to find out what might be wrong??
What you could also try is:
-reboot the pc
-kill all background applications:
virus scan / adwcleaner, registry cleaner / ccleaner, HDD defragment / SSD trimm
use the SFC command utility to fix system files on Windows 10
