These idiots have “ retired “all SA servers!
They should be sued under all and every consumer law.
They can not sell a product that is advertised as an online experience and not provide a usable platform.
It’s a disgrace an absolute disgrace.
According to the Terms of Service, they can.

So are you saying that EA does not want future business in SA, or are you saying this is a temporary thing, or are you just copying and pasting?
What we are asking for is SA servers, not the T&C's.
What I am saying, is that EA has their butts covered and can do whatever they want when it comes to removing servers/services at anytime, without any notice, and there is nothing we can do about it.
It is just not EA, it is any and all online games have a provision like that in their Terms Of Service, just take the time to read any of them, you will find similar language.
It sucks that companies can not be held liable, and it is a huge risk that gamers take by purchasing online games.
When we bought this game we were under the impression that there are SA servers that would make the multiplayer experience better.
We really don't want to play with ping of 200+ and more.
I hope your great community manager realised this.
Can we get a refund then? Or rent our own server for South Africa?
We bought the game to play with our mates at a low ping. For more than a year we had to stuggle with a broken game. From invisible players to the change of the TTK that nobody wanted. Not to mention the extreme lack of content and the delays in updates. And after all of that they remove our servers.
Battlefield 5 should not be referred to as a AAA game. Refund please
