Re: BF5 crashes after 2 minutes and dashboards

Hey, @Randizzle_213

Let's see what we can do to stop that crashing for you.

  • Are you installing the game on an external hard drive or the internal drive on the Xbox?
  • Do you have anything plugged into the USB slot?
  • Have you tried a power cycle with your console since this happened?
  • Is your XB1 well ventilated in an open space, any dust?
  • Have you tried clearing the cloud and local saved data?

Power Cycle the Console

  1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
  2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

  1. Plug the console power cable back in.
  2. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

Thanks for the reply! I spoke to both Microsoft and EA support, and we have narrowed it down to a faulty internal hard drive. Console has been replaced. Thank you for your help!
