Indeed the survival rate is low, I would honestly say mine is 70-30 ... that’s if your stealthy enough and crouch slide a little ways away and then give them the ole 1-2 lol

Not the easiest but the most epic way is to jump on top of the tank and kill it with your repair tool.

I wish that in next game tanks would be:
- Easier to destroy
- Greater in numbers
- Having less upgrades
- No inside repairing option
I feel the exact opposite situation makes many disliking combined arms combat experience because rare and powerful tanks can easily dominate the server 🙂
- @Teal_Pipo_Fredo The tanks in BFV are relatively very easy to destroy already thanks to the number of assault and the easy to use Bazookas.

The only times where the tanks are hard to destroy is more related to a bad map design that gives tanks camping far a way a good time, like in Aerodrome - @UP_Hawxxeye Compared to older titles they are way harder to destroy. In every Battlefield until Battlefield 1 you could easily destroy every vehicle on your own in a single attack. Two to three C4 or two AR-Mines would destroy a full HP tank.
Now in BFV you can use all your explosives as assault on a heavy tank and it will be fine. This is my biggest frustration with being anti-armor. When Aerodrome's overall map size was shrunk it made it significantly harder to kill tanks on that map.
- @N4v1s The tanks in previous titles could both kill people near them much more easily (faster turrets with wider angles, better 3p view aiming) and could also move out of harms way much faster though (basically every tank moved like a staghound).
The more durable tanks in BFV are already severely crippled before even they start take damage that makes them slower at track turning, speed and turret turn. - @UP_Hawxxeye That is correct. However, the sole fact, that the class dedicated for destroying vehicles (Assault) does possibly not have enough explosive, to destroy a tank, is a problem to me. There have been so many situations, where an enemy tank is dominating the server, but nobody is fighting back. So I take it upon me, to do so. Then I manage to get on a good position and use all of my explosives on the tank, without being able to destroy it. At that point you are completely useless and the tank can repair without even caring about you.
@N4v1sBut the main thing about infantry is that they are way more than the vehicles. If a team is not responding properly to the enemy vehicles it is a team problem and not a balance problem imho.
Just yesterday I overextended while using the crocodile tank I was swarmed by multiple assault players and between the slow movement and the large frame I could not get away not kill them fast enough to save myself.
There is a reason that most tankers try to stay far away from enemy assaults. They are in serious danger up close without enough support from allied infantry.
On the other side there was that really good player who was using the panzer 38t. A very fragile tank that is very fast. he had over 40 kills vs 3 deaths within a round of Rotterday CQ both cause he was good and because our team was not having a good composition for responding to enemy vehicles (too many scouts sniping)When I was recon i kept shooting the gas and propane tanks on the supply station the tank kept trying but could not find me. Then random infantry would rebuild it, killed them and destroyed it again. Waited for the tank, he got out and i stole the tank.
