Re: Failed To Join Game Session The Game Could not Be Found

Hey everyone. 

The Battlefield team is still investigating the issues that are happening when you're trying to join a server with a queue. I'm afraid I don't have a time frame on when this may be fixed, but it's on the radar. 

For updates on this and other issues the team is looking into I'd recommend keeping an eye out on the Battlefield Tracker

  • because of lack of firestorm support and refinements, and breakthrough and player base in the Oceania, with this problem, i just waste too much time trying to play. Its a shame, because BF is the best when it works, and i will just stop playing games if i cant play this anymore as nothing compares when it works.

    Im playing on my second machine now , because my main PC just crashes after 5.2, which is another story.

    What? This isn't solved. It gets worse. I even can't join friends anymore. This game gets unplayable for me!

  • ANY update yet this a joke i spent 1hr on the phone with EA Australia and they had no idea how to fix this .

    Any update on this? I can't join any game queues unless I have a friend in a game to join on. This has been going on since the disaster of 5.2 and still has not been addressed.

    It may not be a priority to the team, as trying to get on top of what 5.2 has done to this game must be a nightmare, but I'd really like to join a game some time.

    So if there's any word it'd be appreciated. Anything at all. Even just to say there's nothing to say.

    @TheZohan_SA no update for the moment, restarting the client can help is something we seen comments helping. As soon we have anything to share we will be!

  • @EA_Atic Thanks for the reply. Basically the gaming version of "Have you turned it off and on again?" 🙂

    when is this going to be fixed? over a month now having this issue is pathetic. Probably have 90% of remaining devs working on skins instead of actually helping people who actually buy the game or have a premium sub get a fix so we can join servers.

    @C4_AU Developers working on back-end systems are not the same developers working on skins for the game. It's like having the plumber being a chef in a fancy restaurant - not going to work.

    From what I being told by our developers it's a very complex issue that is taking time.

  • If it helps I could join two games tonight after update .then it started playing up again. Can't join servers again.

    9 Gb patch, still can't join servers when the server is full, whether joining on friends or not.

  • Latest patch to 6.0 has not fixed this issue at all for me. Started with 5.2 or whatever the TTK patch was.

    I am seeing a lot of names I recognise here from Australian community, however I have tried also joining queues to servers in other regions with the same outcome. Is there anything unique in the backends of Australian connections to Origin or central game server hosts that manage the server lists that would help narrow this down?

    I have tried connecting to servers with queues via VPN - no success there either, even into other regions. This would suggest it is a problem with the client installation? I have tried repairing the game to no avail.

    Has anyone tried a completely free re-download and install?

    I also noted that sometime last year, and I don't know what patch it was, but the descriptive server names disappeared and were replaced by a string of numbers. Is this related to the issue?

    I would be happy for devs to reach out to me to gather more intel and data. If there is anything we can provide I would be happy to oblige. I just want this game hotfixed and playable again.

    I've done a complete reinstall of everything and still no luck ,I even had ea help on the phone for over an hr trying everything and no luck there either.i have noticed more of our TOG members are getting the fault now than before. I've also tried everything in your post still no luck .dont like our chances on this ever being fixed seeing I first got this issue back in December.

    @Green-au This is on our side and its not something you can troubleshoot to solve.

    For me it now works! But I also was in contact with the devs sharing my account. Can anyone else confirm that it's fixed?

  • This is very much still happening. Playing on PC in US. This used to be an occassional issue. Now I cannot join on friends if the round is full. If the round is not full, I can join no problem. 

    You used to be able to alt+tab out, and join friends/queue via origin. 

    Now both, consistently, will give you the, "Failed To Join Game Session The Game Could not Be Found" message if the round is full. 

    I can take all the other bugs, but please DICE, fix this one.
