I have also run the recommended Windows Update and made sure all my drivers are current. The maps that load, run fantastically.

It seems that a complete reinstall will fix this issue. Must have been something to do with the most recent patching application. Who knows. Working now.

Do you mean uninstall and reinstall? redownload all that data?
then reinstall it?
Or can we repair it.
The repair work would be best as wont have to uninstall completely and re download.
Also this shouldn't be happening at all DICE need to do something about it.
Not acceptable.
