Re: In-game balance squads
@Nostradumbas I can understand it can be frustrating being on a team where majority leave and then the remainder have to deal with an overwhelming force but lets try and look at this from another perspective.
At the beginning of each round the game tries it's best to auto balance with the information it recieved from the previous match but as you'd expect, some people leave, new people join and so the data doesn't have a good indication of where everyone should be moved to.
With that being said, you made a point that in the event a game gets unbalanced throughout the game, the match should re-balance. However reality is if the game did that, the amount of complaints to arise would be massive. Imagine you're on the winning team with 32 people, you're at the top of the scoreboard, you're only 100 tickets away from winning while the enemy team has 250+ tickets. You go down and when you go to spawn back in, now you're on the losing side with only 15 people, the game ends and you've copped a loss (and probably more deaths due to not having as much support) after spending 95% of the game helping the other team win.
This is unfortunately the reality of what you're asking for and is already a major complaint on other games that have this system in place, as those who are doing the best in their team are usually the ones to be punished the most for something outside of their control.
Forcing people onto the losing team isn't going to resolve the issue, as majority of people who leave will do so near the end of the round so they themselves don't cop the loss on their stats (even though it still counts). Teams being unbalanced are rarely the fault of the game and primarily the result of people getting frustrated they're having a bad match and leave without thinking about how it will affect everyone they've left behind.
I know this probably the answer you wanted to hear but I'm hoping it may have given you another perspective 🙂
