The first code seems to suggest a date of 27 April 1943 - what happened on that date?
I know that the Enigma code was broken two years prior, so that can't be it. Maybe there was a major operation that started on that date.

here is how to proceed:

- Reverse Google Said its Persian war mardonius - Googling "mardonius ww2" you can find the mardonius operation here

BTW, the answer to the second enigma is NEPTUNE, referring to Operation Neptune - the actual D-Day landings which is a subsumed code name under Operation Overlord.
