Re: [pc] Stuttering, micro freezes

Hey @Dystopique

Thanks for all the information you provided, greatly appreciated.

Here's some other steps you can try:

1. Turn off the Origin in-game Overlay in the Origin Launcher, and any other Overlays you might be using such as Discord, or Nvidia GeForce Experience, etc.

2. Clear Origin Cache: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/

3. Clean Boot: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/

4. Make sure you're running the most current version of Windows, which is 1903

Try these steps, and let us know if you're still experiencing issues.

Thanks 🙂

I have already tested your solutions, no Origin in games.....etc

And when I say :  I do clean installation windows, I only install battlefield V. Anyway on my pc, I only install my games, it's without installing other programs as discord, Geforce Experience

Since the last patches it's worse

@Dystopique I recommend checking Windows update as MS recently issued a patch for DX that addressed a lot of the stuttering issues for many PC players.

Could you specify the model of your motherboard please ?
No Asus, MSI softwares installed on your pc ?
    Motherboard drivers are up-to-date ?

    • Status: There were improvements in the previous update, but we are working on further improvements and have a further fix coming in a near future update."

If you have any OC on your GPU turn that off and try playing. Solved a lot of my stutter problems (2070 super)

    Hello,

First, I do not have oc my gpu or cpu.

Since last patch et last driver nvidia : the stuttering it is almost corrected, best optimization. I could never played in conquest squad with stuttering but now I can play this mode, fluid game except map Narvik.

But I have other problem, since last patch I have crash :

-2 crashs back windows before menu without error message

-and this morning in game, a freeze and back windows without error message.

I never had crahs in bfv.

    hello,

I play for 2 days because I had not played for 2 months. And I test game on an other motherboard Asus TUF Z390-PLUS Gaming, other cpu I7 9700K, other power supply Corsair CX650 650W, other Ram Ballistix Sport LT, Gris, 16 Go 3000 MHz.

Last drivers, bios. And again and always random stuttering... I played TDM on map Pacific Storm : no problem, excellent. Next map Arras : stuttering, it's hopleess.

I do not believe it. To make beautiful promises they are very strong.
