Similar issues in BF1 now showing up in BF5 - during initial gameplay all is well and then I get unintended key behavior. Example in a tank: In combat, (1st or 3rd person view) the game will exit me from the vehicle and increase map size at the same time for no reason. I panic and enter back in (if I'm not killed first) and this repeats sporadically. It's now happening as infantry - no exit (obviously) but the map will open large without any reason.
So I narrowed it down to a specific key combination causing it - when I press S and mouse left trigger, whether on foot or in a vehicle, the map enlarges and the tools open (M and T). To visualize, I am in a tank firing (left mouse button) and decide to fire while reversing (S), the game will also exit (E) me out of the vehicle, enlarge the map (M) and switch to my hammer 📱.
I have edited and replaced all buttons to null (255) for all actions for the above in the PROFSAVE_profile_synced file (to stop all possible menu commands) and reset my key bindings and IT HAPPENS AGAIN AND AGAIN.
I have just about given up with all the BF series - this started in BF1 and now spilled into BF5. I've deleted multiple %AppData% files/folders per others instructions but there is SOMETHING in the cloud (I believe) that is causing this. Not sure.
I thought I was close to figuring this out once I figured out the exact combination key/mouse buttons that were causing this (can reproduce) but there are more hidden issues somewhere.
I can confirm but just since this week.
Standard key bindings, happends with keyboard and mouse.
Like G- Middle mouse button not throwing grenade.
Stick like not able to walk, crouche prone or stuck in a broken house and can't move.
After dead it is working back normally.
Alt-Tab start notepad keys working perfect in good old notepad.
Especially the mouse a wired steelseries Rival 110 (lowbudget I know) shows me it is the game.
I was myself thinking about a lagg or loose of ping shortly.
